In late February 2020, relaxation of qualification for Employment Adjustment Subsidy (EAS) is written in my previous post. Since then, the infections are still spreading and the state of emergency has been declared along with voluntary ban in place on leaving home. This worsens business downturn as a side effect. To cope with the situation, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) has expanded EAS application further during an emergency period between April 1st and June 30th.
